Privacy Policy

The short version
What you write to m'oli, and what m'oli writes back, is not saved. Not on our servers and not on your device. It exists on your screen until you close or refresh the page.
What we do keep
- Your email address, so you can sign in.
- How many free releases you have used, and whether you have a paid plan.
- A daily count of sign-in requests per network address, stored as a one-way hash, to prevent abuse.
- Payment records are held by Stripe. We receive your plan status and a customer reference, never your card number.
What leaves your device while you use m'oli
- To write a reply, your words are sent over an encrypted connection to OpenAI. OpenAI handles that text under its own API terms and data-usage policies, which you can read at openai.com/policies.
- If you turn on spoken replies, the text of the reply is sent to OpenAI to create the audio.
- If you use the microphone, your recording is sent over an encrypted connection to OpenAI, which turns it into text. The recording is not saved by m'oli, and OpenAI handles it under its API terms.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (sign-in and account records), OpenAI (replies and voice), Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in emails), and our hosting provider Vercel.
Cookies and local storage
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and small local settings on your device (for example, whether spoken replies are on). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. To see how many people visit and which page brought them (for example, a link from a social post), we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and does not follow you across other sites. It never sees what you write in m'oli.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and the records above at any time by emailing hello@moliapp.space. You can mute spoken replies from the speaker icon in the app.
Not a crisis service
m'oli is not monitored by people. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, please contact a person now. In the US, call or text 988. Elsewhere, contact your local emergency number or crisis line.
Children
m'oli is for people 18 and over.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Questions: hello@moliapp.space. Operated by m'oli, Washington State, United States.
